Marie-Caroline Pons
Marie-Caroline Pons is a PhD graduate student in Linguistics at the University of Oregon. Under the direction of Prof. Scott DeLancey, she works on the description and documentation of Magar, Chepang and Khamci, Trans-Himalayan languages spoken in Nepal. Interested in both functional and historical approaches of language, she has also been focusing on language phylogeny, looking in particular at languages of the Himalayan branch.
