Nicolas Schorer
Nicolas Schorer is a PhD graduate student in Linguistics at the University of Bern, Switzerland. Under the supervision of Prof. George van Driem and Prof. Scott DeLancey he is currently working on a descriptive account of the Jalari Newar variety of Phyaure village in central Nepal. He has previously completed and published a first linguistic study of Dura (Nepal). Nicolas has taught historical linguistics and takes a functional and diachronic approach to language description that seeks to remain framework-free and accessible to linguists from a broad spectrum.
