Pascal Gerber is Ph.D. student at the University of Bern. He is writing a descriptive-historical grammar of Mewahang, an Eastern Kiranti language, as his Ph.D. project, supervised by Prof. Dr. George van Driem and Prof. Dr. Scott DeLancey. He is also involved in the documentation and description of the Gongduk and Lhokpu languages of Bhutan. He is interested in Trans-Himalayan languages, language documentation and description, historical-comparative linguistics and the interaction and interweaving of language with culture and cognition.
